Lake Norman Babe Ruth League, established in 2021, offers a competitive 16-18 year-old recreational baseball program chartered with Babe Ruth League, Inc. and provides players with the opportunity to participate in a World Series Tournament Trail.

The Babe Ruth 16-18 Year-old Baseball Division is the highest and most accomplished level in Babe Ruth Baseball. A favorite among high school players and coaches, this division prepares players for collegiate recruiting and the professional draft. This division allows players a chance to compete through a tournament trail to reach the 16-18 Year-Old World Series.
The Babe Ruth 16-18 Year-old Baseball Division utilizes a conventional 90-foot diamond with a pitching distance of 60 feet, 6 inches. Lake Norman teams are formed after competitive tryouts and participate in a district-wide conference against some of the best high school baseball talent in the Charlotte metro area. Roster sizes average 12-15 players. During the season, a typical week includes a weeknight practice and games on Saturdays and a weeknight (typically Tuesday or Wednesday). Some travel to district opponent sites is required.
All Stars are selected from the Spring regular season rosters to compete in Babe Ruth's tournament trail that culminates with the Babe Ruth 16-18 Year-Old Baseball World Series.
